Gorilla Glue #4 Background and Genetics
Gorilla Glue #4, sometimes referred to as GG4, is a Sativa-dominant hybrid that has won numerous awards and is well-known for having a high THC content. It was created by GG strains. The resin that gathers on the scissors during trimming gave this strain its name, “glue strain.” Due to significant backcrossing, Gorilla Glue #4 has multiple parents, including Sour Diesel, Sour Dubb, Chem’s Sister, and Chocolate Diesel.
Aesthetics, aroma, and flavor
The hybrid strain took home prizes at the 2014 Cannabis Cups in Michigan and Los Angeles. A group of trichomes with a few buds, leaves, and stalks sticking out have been described as what it is.
Although sweet and earthy are also used to describe it, the perfume is very potent and primarily diesel with hints of chocolate and coffee. The rich and fragrant smoke will have you coming back for more. The buds have orange hairs and are green. It is covered with trichomes and is extremely dense, spongy, and resinous.
Effects of glue strain
GG4 typically contains 18 to 25% THC, but some clinics may sell it for as much as 32%. The CBD content is quite low, varying from 0.05 to 0.1 percent.
Both medical and non-medical users of glue strain report feeling relaxed. Despite the sativa dominance, it produces a full-body melt. The terpene profile, the THC/CBD ratio, or the cannabinoids’ synergistic effects may all play a role in the bodily effect. Expect uplifting, cerebral benefits in addition to the bodily buzz. Gorilla Glue #4 is more appropriate for a day off from work or at the end of the day and isn’t really a hardship to use in the morning.
The buzz is immediate and hits the skull for recreational users. Given that this strain locks you onto your couch, the effect is strong. You’ll experience the effects right away, and they’ll “glue” you to the sofa while bringing you relaxation and happiness.
Gorilla Glue #4 is not recommended for major medical illnesses like seizures, cancer, or central nervous system diseases because to its low CBD content. Mild to moderate ailments including headaches and sleeplessness can benefit from it. For painful conditions like slipped discs and arthritis, indica has sedating properties. Stress, anxiety, and depression are some of the major mental ailments that this strain is reputed to be able to treat. Gorilla Glue #4 has become a go-to gal for those with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in particular.
